DO YOU HAVE SHOWERS?
Unfortunately, we do not. However, we have a restroom if you just need to change your clothes.
WHICH CLASS SHOULD I START WITH?
For students new to yoga, we recommend Gentle Yoga, Restorative, Alignment and Beginners Yoga. If you are familiar with yoga, feel free to explore any of our wonderful classes. To ensure your practice benefits you and your schedule, we encourage you to review all class descriptions. While many of our experienced teachers offer modifications and variations regardless of the class name or level, we want you to feel comfortable and enjoy your time with us. Remember, this is YOUR practice! Let go and let your body be your guide. If you would like to practice hot yoga, and have never practiced before, please review our guidelines . Every yoga practice is beneficial.
WHERE DO I PARK?
When arriving at our studio, easy parking is available inside the fenced parking lot. Doors open 15 minutes before class starts and locks 5 minutes after. To allow everyone enough time to get situated and discuss any concerns/conditions with the teacher, we strongly encourage everyone to arrive at least 10 minutes prior to class.
DO I NEED TO BRING A MAT?
We have all the props and equipment that you need for a yoga practice - mats, blocks, straps, bolsters, blankets and many more! We highly recommend that you bring your own yoga mat, especially for warm or hot yoga. We lend out yoga mats, however they are shared.
DO YOU HAVE STORAGE?
Storage cubicles, located in the studio, are available to students during their class.
IS YOGA PRACTICED BAREFOOT?
Yes. To honor the traditions of the east and to keep a clean space for yogis to practice, please take your socks off. Doing so also helps you avoid slipping on yoga mats. If you feel more comfortable wearing socks, you are welcome. Please be more conscientious of your practice because you can slip and slide.
WHAT SHOULD I WEAR?
Please wear comfortable, breathable clothing. Many students wear a fitted top or a t-shirt that is tucked into the pants or shorts.
WHAT'S THE MINIMUM AGE FOR PARTICIPANTS?
We leave it up to the discretion of the parent. If you think your child would be comfortable in a room with adults and not be a distraction to you and anyone else, we welcome them in our adult classes.
